We
are recruiting a general director for the “Changwon Sculpture Biennale 2022”
hosted by Changwon and supervised by the Changwon Cultural Foundation. The
Changwon Sculpture Biennale is the only biennale in Korea that specializes in
sculpture. We hope that you will participate in the public recruitment of the
general director of the Changwon Sculpture Biennale 2022.

1. Establish event plan and general
management
2. Select (Create) and install
participating artists and works
3. All affairs related to event
promotion (prints, etc.) and sponsorship
4. Establish and hold additional events
and academic events
5. Establish strategies for
differentiation and development of sculpture biennale through review of
internal and external conditions
6. Propose measures to expand citizen
participation (program), briefing at internal and external reports and briefing
sessions
7. Promote exhibition in cooperation
with Changwon Sculpture Biennale
8. Other matters necessary for the
successful hosting of event

Recruitment criteria and qualifications
❍ Explore the direction of contemporary sculpture and
suggest specific ways to leap forward into a differentiated sculpture biennale
❍ Propose specific plans for collaboration or cooperation
with local planners and artists
❍ Recognize the importance of performance and feedback
during biennale evaluation
❍ Propose a new exhibition model that can take off as a
cultural city by elevating the status of Changwon, the city of plastic arts, at
both national and international level.
❍ Those who have expertise in sculpture and have experience
in domestic and foreign exhibitions and events with similar characteristics as
of the announcement date
❍ International networking skills
❍ In the case of foreigners, those who can stay in Changwon
for a certain period of time to facilitate the exhibition (consult separately
in case of force majeure such as COVID-19)

Reasons for disqualification
❍ Those who are incompetent
❍ A person who has not been reinstated after being declared
bankrupt
❍ A person who was sentenced to imprisonment without prison
labor or a heavier punishment, and for whom five years have not passed since
the execution of the sentence was terminated or it was decided not to be
executed
❍ A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment without
prison labor or a heavier punishment and for whom two years have not elapsed
since the end of the probation period;
❍ A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment without
prison labor or heavier punishment and is still in the period of probation
❍ Public officials and the heads of public service-related
organizations and their employees under the Public Official Ethics Act, who
have resigned or dismissed as a matter of course due to corruption related to
their duties while in office, and for whom 5 years have not elapsed since the
date of retirement
❍ Those whose qualifications have been lost or suspended by
a court decision or other laws
❍ A person judged to be unable to perform other duties

Matters to be attended to
❍ This recruitment schedule may be changed or canceled due
to the circumstances of the foundation, and any change in the schedule will be
notified in advance.
❍ If the information in the submitted documents is not true,
you may be excluded from the selection process.
❍ The screening process and contents of the screening are
kept confidential, and applicants cannot raise any objection to the contents of
the screening.
❍ Submitted documents will not be returned.
❍ All disadvantages due to incomplete documents, false
