Can mist become a sculpture? This work is a semi-circular structure releasing a cloud of fine mist at regular intervals. In other words, both the mist and the spraying device are a work of art. TAPSCOTT had the sculpture installed in the middle of a trail in Yongji Park, so that visitors can walk through a ring of mist at least once during their visit to the Biennale. The mist adds versatility by producing a rainbow or drifting away on the wind from time to time. At night, the lighting embedded into the structure illuminates the mist, creating a dreamlike ambiance.
