Collecting & Piling
Inside an iron-framed large pot-shaped structure sitting under the central staircase of Seongsan Art Hall, piled are the real ceramic pots. Various pots that are collected and congregated inside a frame are what make the formative language of this work interesting. This structure of “a pot containing pots” becomes a modern installation art by congregating individual ceramic piece that has lost its purpose. This is a reminder to us that individuals - no matter how unique they are - are all a part of a larger society in the end.
