Never Withering Hill
SHIN reveals the human’s barbarity of making taxidermized animals by leaving only the skin of an animal. She purchased a dead rabbit from a market in the countryside and then covered the cadaver with resin, which is a different way of taxidermizing it and also her way of holding a funeral. SHIN also explores the meaning of the nature using the “real” rabbit which is different from the rabbit in fables, through this “sculptural installation that came out at the end of a performance.”
