Labyrinth

This is a three-meter-tall labyrinth built with honeycomb boards. The structure, which resembles a collapsed building, appears rough and shabby, far from cozy and warm. This feeling comes from the fact that it is a ‘non-building’ without proper walls or ceilings. The boards lean against each other to form the structure, looking like walls crumbling down. This is also a non-sculpture. The work is a symbolic representation of all things that threaten us. Visitors who walk into the structure and come out the other side view it as a labyrinth of confusion rather than a play space, despite knowing too well that it is a simple maze. The labyrinth makes us take a moment and reflect on the challenging times the world faces today.
