Some shape I / 19-04
There is a light and flexible sculpture in front of you. A sculpture of an unknown shape is suspended from the ceiling, swimming gracefully in the air. Its ambiguous form – which resembles a petal or ameba but is still difficult to define – as well as its fluorescent-colored surface bring out rich imagination. This is both a conceptual sculpture made by the artist’s free-flowing creative energy but also a non-sculpture that hovers in the air hung on steel wires, demonstrating its resistance to conventions of what a sculpture should be.
