SCULPTURE IN BREAD (Collaboration - GREEN HOUSE & ZIGOR BARAYAZARRA)
This is one of the collaborations supported by the Biennale. A Spanish artist worked with bread baked with material and equipment prepared by a Changwon-based bakery called Green House. These bread sculptures are carefully designed by BARAYAZARRA and freshly baked every day and available for purchase in Green House. The project is a collaboration between a foreign artist and a local bakery, which turns food into art. It is a clever interpretation of non-sculpture, the theme of this year’s Biennale. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee whether visitors will be able to enjoy the bread on the spot due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements. We hope the numbers will flatten out and visitors will enjoy some lighter moments in these difficult times.
