Seasonal work

As an installation artist, LEE works with various media such as sculpture, painting, photography, performing art, and music. He has been always keen on the subject of “ego.” Curator asked him to create a “seasonal work” and this work started from his contemplation on what a seasonal work means. LEE’s approach is quite ingenious. He creates a scene of fire in the middle of the room by employing multi-sensory devices of sound, fans, lights, and fabric. This work makes us think about the reverence and solemn structure of exhibition spaces. It also depicts the stories of artists who are gradually losing their identity as artist in the face of reality.
