Slop Persists (from Salient Features)
NORDIN expresses the chaos in sculptural installation, architecture, and material. She often depicts collapsing construction sites and creates sculptures of places in unstable forms as well as sculptures in ambiguous forms. According to her, the incomplete shapes with different heights represent our unstable condition. In her own artistic language, she approaches the current reality of the invisible yet enduring social hierarchy as well as the social system that is unsystematic. She intends to deliver such incompleteness to the visitors through her work, Salient Features.
